XCMG Chooses Conflux For NFTs And Future Global Blockchain Applications

Four altcoins that have been trending hard over the past week are significantly outperforming other crypto assets amid a marketwide rally.
One of the hottest altcoins in the last seven days is Conflux (CFX), a public blockchain that aims to connect Asian and Western communities and economies.

CFX rallied from a seven-day low of $0.14 to a high of $0.42 to mark a staggering 200% rise. CFX continues to trade near its highs as it is worth $0.41 at time of writing.
Next up is MASK, the Ethereum (ETH)-based governance token of the Mask decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). The Mask Network is a decentralized portal that allows users access to blockchain features on top of existing social networks.
The crypto asset surged from a low of $2.70 on March 13th to a weekly high of $6.66 for an increase of over 146%. Just like CFX, MASK is trading near its seven-day high as the altcoin is worth $6.51 at time of writing.
Another altcoin that’s on the up and up as of late is Stacks (STX), a layer-1 protocol that aims to enable smart contracts and boost the utility of Bitcoin (BTC).
The crypto asset skyrocketed from a low of $0.57 on March 12th to a weekly high of $1.30, representing a surge of more than 128%. Stacks has retraced since and is trading at $1.19 at time of writing.
The last coin on the list is ImmutableX (IMX), a protocol that’s designed to enable developers to build fast, scalable and secure applications for blockchain-based games and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
IMX climbed from a seven-day low of $0.78 to a high of $1.59 to mark a rally of over 103%. The 45th-ranked crypto asset is also trading near its weekly high as the token is worth $1.53 at time writing.

Four Altcoins Erupt 103% or More in Seven Days As Crypto Markets Awaken

A little-known Ethereum competitor is in the midst of a major breakout, posting numbers that outpace both Bitcoin and ETH.
The layer-1 blockchain Conflux Network (CFX) is trading at $0.295 at time of writing, up 53% in the last seven days.

That compares to a 16% rise in the price of Bitcoin and a 9% rise in the price of Ethereum in the same time frame.
The coin, which launched in November of 2020, burst on the scene in this year when the project announced a partnership with China Telecom, one of the largest wireless carriers in the country.
The platform has also been integrated into Xiaohongshu, known as Little Red Book, which is a Chinese social media and e-commerce platform that reportedly has more than 200 million monthly active users.
Conflux says it’s the only fully regulated layer-1 blockchain in China, with the goal of building a borderless, blockchain-based economy.
“As the only regulatory compliant, public, and permissionless blockchain in China, Conflux is building a borderless transactional and technological ecosystem for globally-minded crypto projects, extending beyond China to North America, Russia, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the rest of the world.”
Conflux designed to be a highly scalable and low cost protocol, and utilizes a proof-of-work consensus model to validate transactions.
Its native crypto asset, CFX is used to pay transaction fees, offer staking rewards and let users participate in the network’s governance.
CFX is trading at $0.295 at time of publishing, up 6.9% in the last 24 hours.

Little-Known Ethereum Rival Erupts, Outperforming Bitcoin and ETH With 53% Boom in Seven Days

Bitcoin, and for that matter, most of the alternative coins, have remained untypically calm for the past few days.
However, the landscape will likely change today or tomorrow as all financial markets are preparing for Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s testimony in front of Congress.
BTC Stays Flat
Last week was rather uneventful in terms of price action for the primary cryptocurrency, whose most significant increase came on Wednesday when it briefly tapped $24,000. It failed there and resumed its range trading between $23,000 and $24,000.
While the reasons are still debated, the situation changed on Friday when the asset plummeted by over a grand in minutes and fell to $22,000, thus marking its lowest price point in 18 days.
BTC bounced off and added around $400 in the following hours as the weekend came. It spiked to $22,600 on Saturday evening but failed to continue upwards and went back down to $22,400, where it’s been trading ever since.
Its market capitalization stands inches above $22,000, while its dominance over the altcoins is slightly higher than yesterday at 42.4%.

Yet, all that price stability could change in the following few days as Jerome Powell, the Chairman of the US Federal Reserve, is scheduled to testify before Congress regarding the central bank’s future monetary policy.
Alts With Minor Losses
Although they are a lot more volatile by nature, the altcoins have also failed to produce any significant fluctuations lately. Ethereum, for instance, has remained stuck around $1,550 ever since it dumped below $1,600 on Friday.
Binance Coin also lost a round-numbered milestone by falling beneath $300, and another minor retracement has pushed it back down to $285. Ripple, OKB, Cardano, Dogecoin, Polygon, Solana, Polkadot, Shiba Inu, and Litecoin are also slightly in the red on a daily scale, with losses of up to 3%.
TONCOIN, Uniswap, and XMR are among the few alts with insignificant daily gains, while Conflux has soared by 7% to $0.2.
Nevertheless, the total crypto market cap remains flat at just over $1.020 trillion.
