Ethereum continued on a bearish path as the coin has now found support level at $1,100. Over the last two days the coin surged and touched the $1,200 mark but shortly after that, it witnessed a pullback on the chart. Ethereum’s strong resistance currently stood at $1,300.
The technical perspective of the coin has also remained bearish. Over the last 24 hours, ETH lost 9% of its value and invalidated most gains it secured in the past one week. After the bulls could not manage to move past the $1,300 price ceiling, the coin has slipped down.
ETH has depicted a consolidated price range with price of the asset sandwiched between $1,280 and $1,110, respectively. If Ethereum doesn’t rise and break past the $1,300, price could dip and fall below the $1,000 mark. Buying strength also faded as price of the coin kept falling on the chart. The global cryptocurrency market cap today is at $937 Billion with a fall of 5.5% in the last 24 hours.

ETH was trading for $1,111 at the time of writing. Immediate support for the coin stood at $1,000, but if ETH starts to fall then the coin can trade at the $900 price level. Immediate overhead resistance stood at $1,200 and then at $1,300.
The last time the altcoin hovered around this price region was in the month of January 2021. If Ethereum falls to $900, it would mark a new low for the coin in the year 2022. If price of the altcoin manages to jump to $1,300 and trades above that level for significantly long, then rally to $1,700 could be possible.
Volume of Ethereum traded fell on the 24 hour chart which meant that buying strength decreased. The trading volume bar was red indicating bearishness.

ETH was oversold over the last 48 hours, but the coin recovered and moved above the oversold zone. Despite this recovery Ethereum’s buying pressure remained extremely low on the chart. The Relative Strength Index noted a downtick and was nearing the oversold mark again.
Consistent downfall in demand can bring Ethereum to touch the $900 level over the next trading sessions. On the 20-SMA, the coin was seen below the 20-SMA line. A reading below the 20-SMA line means that the sellers were driving the price momentum in the market.

ETH noted a fall in buying strength despite that the coin flashed buy signal son the one day chart. Moving Average Convergence Divergence depicts the price momentum. It displayed a bullish crossover and flashed green signal bars which are buy signals for the coin.
The current price level could potentially turn into a demand zone for the king altcoin. Chaikin Money Flow demonstrated capital inflows and outflows on the chart. CMF was below the the half-line which meant that capital inflows were lesser than capital outflows signifying bearishness.

Ethereum Keeps Sliding Down, Will The Support Line of $1,100 Break?

A popular analyst known for taking deep dives into crypto projects is revealing a few altcoins that he thinks may soon be the future gems of the next bull market.
In a YouTube update, the pseudonymous host of Coin Bureau known as Guy reveals that he plans to ride out the extended bear market cautiously as it’s shaping up to be a significant “crypto winter.”

“In terms of what moves I might make in the coming weeks and months, to be honest, chances are I’ll be sitting pretty tight.
These are tough and very uncertain times, and as such are better suited to holding back and taking the time to identify potential future gems.”
When it comes to the specific crypto projects on Guy’s radar, he says that he’s interested in layer-1 smart contract platform Avalanche (AVAX), decentralized Internet of Things (IoT) network Helium (HNT) and the lending and borrowing protocol Aave (AAVE).
“I’m a big fan of Avalanche and I may be tempted to pick up some AVAX if the price falls to around the $10 mark.
I also love Helium as a project and I’ll be looking to add more to the HNT I already hold at some point in the future.
Aave is also a great project and I’m keeping an eye on its price action as well.”
The host goes on to say that he likes PAX Gold as a “safe haven” digital asset because the PAXG token is backed by physical gold.
“I may also look to pick up some more PAXG if the world gets even more chaotic in the near future. PAXG is tokenized gold and a great way to get exposure to the shiny yellow stuff without actually having to buy physical gold.
I sold out of my PAXG a while ago to buy more BTC and ETH, but I can foresee maybe getting back into it to diversify my portfolio a bit more.
Safe-haven assets like gold are always worth keeping in mind and PAXG is for me a perfect marriage between gold and crypto.”

The Coin Bureau host concludes by reiterating his belief that the crypto bear market will continue for quite some time, and therefore he intends to do more research before making any future investments in the space.
“It’s too early, I think, to start making decisions on what to buy ahead of the next bull market.
As I’ve said many times before, we’re most likely stuck with the bear market for months or even years to come.”
Earlier this week, Guy also said that crypto stalwarts Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) accounted for 70% of his portfolio because they “will continue to be the two main pillars of the crypto market for the foreseeable future.”

Coin Bureau Names Potential ‘Future Gems,’ Including Avalanche (AVAX), Helium (HNT) and Two More Altcoins

Circle Internet Financial has revealed a usd coin custody partnership with the American bank holding company New York Community Bancorp (NYCB). Under the agreement, NYCB’s subsidiary, New York Community Bank, will become a custodian for the company’s stablecoin reserves.

On Tuesday, Circle announced that it is collaborating with NYCB, the parent company of the U.S. Bank National Association. According to the announcement, NYCB’s subsidiary, New York Community Bank, will custody reserves for Circle’s popular stablecoin usd coin (USDC).
USDC is the second largest stablecoin today with a $53.9 billion market capitalization. During the past 24 hours, Circle’s USDC stablecoin has seen $5 billion in global trade volume. New York Community Bank will also work with Circle in order to provide unbanked communities with access to low-cost financial solutions.
The companies’ strategies will leverage blockchain solutions and stablecoin systems. Solutions include the allocation of USDC dollar-denominated reserves to Minority Depository Institutions Programs (MDIs) and community banks. Dante Disparte, the chief strategy officer and head of global policy for Circle, explained that the future of money will be more inclusive.
“If we want to make the future of money and payments more inclusive than the past, we have to build new partnerships and connections at the community level,” Disparte remarked in a statement.
Circle’s chief strategy officer added:
By partnering with NYCB, we are opening up new pathways for community banks and MDIs across the country to be key participants in the fast-growing digital assets market.

Circle Wants to Improve Financial Inclusion — Blackrock and BNY Mellon Also Handle USDC’s Reserve Management and Custodial Services
On November 17, 2021, Disparte wrote a blog post that explained how Circle wants to “[improve] financial inclusion and economic prosperity for all.” The post discusses working with community banks and MDIs, and the concept of “raising global economic prosperity through the frictionless exchange of financial value.”
The partnership with NYCB follows Moneygram launching a USDC crypto-to-cash program in specific markets. Furthermore, Circle recently launched USDC on the Polygon blockchain network and issued a second major stablecoin backed 1:1 with the euro.
Andrew Kaplan, the executive vice president and chief digital bank and banking as a service officer at NYCB said that the financial institution was “proud to be a leading digital asset innovator among U.S. banks.”
“We are thrilled that together with being a custodian for USDC reserves, we are also able to partner with Circle on meaningful initiatives to impact inclusion and education to our communities and customers,” Kaplan concluded.
In addition to NYCB, the financial giants Blackrock and BNY Mellon have partnered with Circle as well. Blackrock was named “a primary asset manager of USDC cash reserves,” and America’s oldest investment bank BNY Mellon was also revealed as a USDC custodian last April.

Circle Partners With New York Community Bancorp — Bank to Custody USDC Reserves

Shiba Inu (SHIB) may not have been taken seriously as a crypto asset when it was first introduced, but the meme coin has steadily climbed the cryptocurrency rankings.
The newest signals of relief in the crypto markets following a protracted volatility may come as a surprise to many, but the most intriguing aspect of this rebound is that meme tokens have emerged as the largest gainers.
In the previous week or two, the majority of other coins have been bleeding from losses or barely able to stay afloat because of the ongoing crypto winter.

Shiba Inu Continues To Defy The Trend
However, Shiba Inu has been able to defy the odds and increase by 45 percent over the past week. Wednesday’s Coingecko stats show that SHIB is currently trading at $0.00000975, down 9.5% from the last 24 hours.
Despite the profit-taking on Monday, the coin remained trading at the monthly highs near $0.00001196 on Tuesday. Nonetheless, it remains 85 percent below its all-time high of $0.00008, which was reached in October of last year.
The dog-themed token briefly surpassed Tron as the 13th biggest cryptocurrency by market valuation. Even Bitcoin and Ethereum’s seven-day gains of 2% and 8%, respectively, were eclipsed by this rally.
According to Yunometa’s founder, Arijit Mukherjee:

“Shiba Inu appears to be benefiting from hints of bottom fishing and a larger mood comeback on the cryptocurrency market.”

Yunometa noted that considering SHIB’s large social media presence and devoted fanbase, it’s not hard to understand why the coin’s price has risen in tandem with DOGE’s rally.

Meme Token Takes Fed Stance Favorably
Jerome Powell, the chairman of the US Federal Reserve in the United States, stated on June 23 that the Fed was committed to tackling historically high inflation. In addition, he agreed that a rapid rise in interest rates could lead to job cuts.
The central bank’s more lenient position on interest rates looked to have a favorable effect on the equity and crypto markets. Meme coins outperformed the rest of the market following the Fed’s statement.

Meanwhile, it is interesting to note that after rising as one of the leading meme-based cryptocurrencies over the past year, Shiba Inu’s prospects are deteriorating as a result of waning interest in the token as it continues to endure major price decline.
According to data provided by Finbold, the popularity score for Google search queries including the keyword “Buy SHIB” dropped by 100 percent over the past year, from 8 in June 2021 to zero this month.

Shiba Inu Hops By 45% In A Week – What Could Have Pushed SHIB Up?

XRP and other market movers have continued to face the wrath of the bears. The altcoin has fallen considerably over the last 24 hours. It had secured gains over the past week but since the bulls are back, the coin lost what it had gained.
Profit booking has taken over as the market movers witnessed a brief relief rally. Although price of the altcoin surged by 16% over a week, the daily losses have invalidated most of it. In the last 24 hours the coin fell by 3%, bringing its price down to $0.34.
The bulls have tired out and surrendered to the bears. Selling pressure has increased as XRP turned bearish. The next crucial resistance for the coin hovers at around the $0.30 mark. Technical outlook for XRP flashed mixed signals with a positive divergence on the daily chart.

The altcoin was trading for $0.34 on the one day chart. Immediate resistance for the coin was at $0.48 Before XRP revisits the aforementioned price level of $0.48, the coin has to trade above the $0.40 mark for sometime. Going by the near term technical outlook, the altcoin could lose on its chart again.
The support region for the coin would be near $0.30 to $0.28 in a case of a further fall. The amount of XRP traded in the previous session has shot up signifying that sellers were active in the market, the bar was in red highlighting bearish strength.

Indicators were bearish on the 24 hour chart. In accordance with profit booking, sellers had increased in number at the time of writing. The Relative Strength Index slipped below the half-line signifying bearishness as sellers took over the market.
On the 20-SMA line, price of XRP was parked below the 20-SMA line, this signalled that selling pressure mounted because sellers drove the price momentum in the market. The above chart however displayed a chance of price undergoing a correction. On the RSI, a positive divergence was formed. A positive divergence indicates that buying strength would return and help the price of the asset to move north on its chart.

Sellers have re-entered the market, despite this observation, XRP has continued to flash buy signal in the market. This could mean that followed by the present sell-off, XRP might attempt to secure gains. The Awesome Oscillator depicts price momentum and also accounts for reversals, the indicator displayed green signal bars.
These green signal bars were buy signals for the coin. Parabolic SAR also reads the price trend and changes in the same. Dotted lines were spotted below the candlestick which meant that XRP might turn positive over the next trading sessions.
