Nebulas (NAS) News
Hey all, Been away from crypto fun for well over a year now. I checked my MEW account on etherscan and noticed my NAS tokens went out 238 days ago to 'Nebulas Token'. Now I know about the swap but didn't do that sadly. Have I lost my tokens or was there any suggestions to recover them? Thanks
As someone who has been a very strong supporter of Nebulas in the past, I just want to bring up a couple things that concern me and see if I'm alone on this.
Those of you who were around for the first round of the developer incentive program might remember the results - a ton of Nebulas being given away to some developers who made pretty weak apps - some cases barely functional. At the end of the day, the DiP resulted in a ton of garbage dApps and a ton of NAS given away, which caused selling pressure on NAS and left a lot of long term buyers/holders with a bad taste in their mouth.
Fast forward to now - the Nebulas team has been buying back Nebulas at market rate on exchanges - we're told the buyback program is roughly 15% complete.
The combination of these two programs is a bit concerning. You have a situation where a lot of Nebulas is being given away, to what seems like a roughly consistent group of people. Then the Nebulas team is artifically supporting a high price point by buying back these coins. Hate to say it, but these economics are quite suspect
