The AGIX token of the Singularitynet project has risen 25.63% in the last 24 hours. Over the last seven days, four out of the top five AI-centric digital currencies have seen double-digit gains against the U.S. dollar.
An Overview of AI-Centric Crypto Asset Market Moves After GPT-4 Release
On March 14, 2023, Openai launched the next iteration of deep learning and artificial intelligence (AI) with the release of GPT-4, otherwise known as Chat GPT-4. Openai detailed on Tuesday that the new product is a “milestone” as it accepts images and text inputs and emits text outputs.
GPT-4 has also passed various professional and academic benchmarks better than the GPT-3.5 version. Furthermore, on Tuesday, it was shown that GPT-4 was able to review an Ethereum smart contract and identify specific bugs and vulnerabilities.
“I dumped a live Ethereum contract into GPT-4,” Coinbase Director Conor Grogan explained on Tuesday. “In an instant, it highlighted a number of security vulnerabilities and pointed out surface areas where the contract could be exploited. It then verified a specific way I could exploit the contract.”
Grogan also mentioned how the smart contract was exploited in 2018 and GPT-4 was able to identify the exploits used. Since the release of Openai’s GPT-4, AI-centric tokens are reaping the benefits of the product’s hype.

Currently, market statistics from cryptoslate.com indicate that 74 listed crypto assets associated with artificial intelligence concepts are valued at $3.9 billion. Nine out of the top ten AI-crypto assets are up between 0.6% and 25.63% over the last 24 hours.
Singularitynet (AGIX) has jumped 25.63% over the day and 28.97% higher over the last month. Graph (GRT) increased 3.63% over the past day and 11.92% this week. Fetch.ai (FET) is up 9.98% over the last 24 hours and 10.17% for the week. Moreover, ocean protocol (OCEAN) has risen 9.35% today and 17.39% during the past seven days.

While the fifth-largest AI-focused cryptocurrency is up 5.17% over the last day, iexec rlc (RLC) dropped 20.92% in value against the dollar this month. It is also the only AI-centric crypto in the top five that has seen a decline this week. The top four, GRT, AGIX, FET, and OCEAN, have claimed double-digit gains over the seven-day period.
Other notable AI-focused crypto asset gainers this week include cortex (CTXC) up 24.96% and singularitydao (SDAO), which jumped 18.54% higher over the last seven days. A notable loser this week was alethea liquid intelligence (ALI), down 8.63% against the U.S. dollar.

Openai’s GPT-4 Launch Sparks Surge in AI-Centric Crypto Assets

An Ethereum-based altcoin that’s been trending hard this year is looking past Bitcoin’s (BTC) recent corrective move as the hype surrounding AI intensifies.
The blockchain-based markeplace for artificial intelligence services SingularityNET (AGIX) has rallied from $0.04 on January 1st to $0.48 at time of writing, representing a meteoric rise 1,100% in about two months.

AGIX is also up 16% in the last seven days even as Bitcoin retraced from around $23,500 to $22,491 over the same timeframe.
AGIX’s stellar performance comes as the narrative about the development artificial intelligence continues to dominate headlines.
Billionaire and tech mogul Elon Musk has reportedly reached out to AI researchers to discuss the possibility of creating a new lab that would explore the development of a new project to rival the popular chatbot ChatGPT.
The news follows Microsoft’s $10 multibillion-dollar investment in the high-profile chatbot.
SingularityNET itself also released a big update this year.
The protocol’s development team said they are building an ecosystem of projects that would boost growth and token utilization in the areas of decentralized finance (DeFi), robotics, biotech, gaming, media and enterprise-level AI.

Ethereum Altcoin That’s Exploded 1,100% This Year Ignores Bitcoin and Crypto Pullback Amid Mounting Hype on AI

Cardano-based artificial intelligence marketplace SingularityNET (AGIX) has seen its price rise by 11% in the last 24 hours, making it today’s top performer in the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap. The sudden rally started shortly after rumors surfaced that Elon Musk wants to build a ChatGPT competitor.
As the 4-hour chart below shows, AGIX has seen a massive green candle of close to 30%, before the gains were wiped out in large part by an equally massive 4-hour candle. Still, the token price is up 11% in the last 24 hours of trading.

Here’s Why AGIX Is Rallying
The AGIX rally comes at a time when Twitter and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been musing out loud on Twitter about the dangers of artificial intelligence (AI). Two days ago, Musk wrote:
But, all things considered with regard to AGI existential angst, I would prefer to be alive now to witness AGI than be alive in the past and not. […] Having a bit of AI existential angst today.
About 12 hours ago, at the same time that AGIX’s price started to soar, a rumor surfaced that Elon Musk is looking to develop a ChatGPT competitor. In an exclusive report, The Information reported that Musk has created a new AI research lab led by Igor Babushkin, a researcher who recently left Alphabet’s DeepMind AI.

The report is based on two people with direct knowledge of the effort and a third person with knowledge of the talks. According to the statements, the lab’s main focus is to develop an alternative to ChatGPT.

While SingularityNET obviously has nothing to do with Elon Musk’s initiative, today’s pump is emblematic of the “AI narrative” that has seen AI-focused tokens rise dramatically in value in January through early February due to the hype surrounding ChatGPT by OpenAI.
Price Rejected At Crucial Resistance
The AGIX price rally ended abruptly at the $0.55 resistance and initiated a bounce down south to $0.4488. Since then, however, AGIX has again picked up steam and is recording an upward trend.

As long as the SingularityNET token holds above $0.37, the price continues to be in bullish territory. To the upside, resistance at $0.551, $0.605, and $0.667 are key. A daily close above the $0.55 resistance would be massively bullish and bring the all-time high in the $0.67 area back into focus.

Cardano-Based SingularityNET (AGIX) Soars After Elon Musk Related AI Rumor

According to Coinmarketcap, SingularityNET (AGIX) is currently up 31% in the last 24 hours and 237% in the last seven days. 
AGIX, the native cryptocurrency of the SingularityNET, a blockchain-based Al project, has recently been on dramatic heights. Since the start of 2023, the relatively unknown digital asset has rallied almost 800% and looks ready to continue its upward trajectory.
What Is Boosting AGIX’s price?
The key factor contributing to AGIX’s price uptick is the increasing popularity of Al-based platforms. Looking at Coinmarketcap, it can be seen that AI-related crypto tokens such as Ocean Protocol (OCEAN), SingularityNET (AGIX), and Fetch (FET), among others, have ascended to be among the top 100 cryptocurrencies on the list. The increased valuations of such Al-based tokens occur amid the ongoing consolidations among significant cryptocurrencies.

AGIX is the native cryptocurrency used by SingularityNET platform for community governance, transactions management, distribution, and monetization of AI services on the decentralized platform. Since the start of the year, the native token has experienced bullish price movements.
On Tuesday, February 7, AGIX soared its value to hit a 17-month high record of $0.59 in the early hours before losing momentum to the current price of $0.56. The price is still up 25.79% in the last 24 hours, as per Coinmarketcap.
AGIX began its tremendous uptick on January 23 when Microsoft confirmed its multibillion-dollar investment worth $10 billion in ChatGPT A.I.-powered chatbot. Since then, many more institutions have announced plans to support Al-driven platforms. For instance, on February 4, Google invested about $300 million in artificial intelligence start-up Anthropic following Microsoft’s integration of OpenAI’s chatbot ChatGPT into their Bing Search engine.
SingularityNET, which runs on Cardano and Ethereum, has been keen on enhancing interoperability between the two protocols by developing a bridge to tokens.
In today’s Twitter social media, SingularityNET announced a partnership focused on Cardano’s programming language Haskell to enhance high applications for its developers using MeTTa, an Artificial Intelligence Domain Specific Language (AI-DSL), to enable autonomous interoperability between its AI services.
SingularityNET has about 15 Al-based platforms (those associated with entertainment, arts, media, biomedical, robotics, and finance industries) on its network. Consumers use the platform’s native cryptocurrency (AGIX) to access services rendered by these Al platforms. Consumers also stake the native token to earn incentives and use the crypto in voting to determine the platform’s governance proposals.

AGIX Price Analysis
AGIX started trading in January 2018 when the crypto market was undergoing a bear market. On January 20, 2018, it surged to a level still regarded as its all-time high of $1.86. On March 13, 2020, the coin plunged to its all-time low of $0.007497, triggered by the Covid-19 lockdown.

In early 2021, AGIX moved its value past $0.50 briefly in August before falling again over the summer. In 2022, AGIX suffered along with the rest of the crypto market due to the prolonged bear market. But so far, the token’s price has soared by 196.74% in the previous year. In the last 30 days, AGIX had 20/30 (67%) green days.

SingularityNET (AGIX) Surges 26.84% Following Partnership with Cardano

An artificial intelligence-focused crypto project is exploding amid an industry-wide boom in interest and adoption of AI technology.
The Ethereum-based project SingularityNET (AGIX) has jumped from a low of $0.16 to a high of $0.44 in just one week – a 175% increase.

SingularityNET is a blockchain-based marketplace for artificial intelligence services ranging from individual AI algorithms to standalone AI applications.
The team behind the project says it’s working to build an ecosystem of projects to drive growth and token utilization in areas such as decentralized finance (DeFi), robotics, biotech, gaming, media and enterprise-level AI.
The project has also announced a transaction milestone, with more than 200 million tokens sent through its SingularityNET blockchain bridge.
The bridge is designed to give crypto holders the ability to transfer tokens to and from the Ethereum (ETH) and Cardano (ADA) networks.

SingularityNET isn’t the only AI-focused crypto asset that has exploded in the last week.
Fetch.ai (FET) – another platform that aims to bring together artificial intelligence and blockchain technology – has moved from $0.26 to a high of $0.47. That’s a whopping 80% increase.
